Report Writing for General Ledger and Accounts Payable Staff
Course number: RW203
Overview Learn how to create reports of general ledger and accounts payable information. Participants are encouraged to bring samples of reports they need to create. Workshop time will be allotted to create some of these reports.
In order for participants to gain an in-depth understanding of General Ledger and Accounts Payable files used for report writing, this course focuses heavily on files and database relationships. Query/400, using account payable detail data, will be taught as the reporting tool to access these files and to write reports. Participants will also learn how to “package” groups of queries together and to alter standard BTI/HSS menus to include newly created reports.
