Overview Get ready, get set, go. . . . Learn how to implement BTI’s next release of HSS, Version 5. Find out what is new and what has changed. Determine planning and upgrade issues which should be addressed prior to software installation. Learn how to maximize the usage and derived benefits of HSS through various implementation strategies. Discover new techniques, get the computer to do more work for you.

Participants will learn about topics such as:
• What is new, what has changed, intended applications
• General installation requirements
• Database changes and how they may effect user reporting
• New billing methods and master tables set-up
• Managing payer authorizations
• Contract management
• What is an automated agent and what can they do for you
• Job queues, schedules, subsystem management and more
• A new perspective on E-mail

Prerequisites A thorough understanding of your agency’s current HSS implementation will be helpful when applying knowledge gained from the course to individual upgrade transition planning.

Logistics • Courses are held at BTI’s office in Vineland, New Jersey.
• Beverages and lunch are provided for each full classroom day.
• Morning and evening meals are the responsibility of attendees.

• Attendees are responsible for providing their own hotel and travel accommodations.
