Overview This course focuses on the use of BTI’s Intake Module, as well as other portions of the Client Data System (CDS), to teach participants to do the following:
- log calls related to potential clients,
- create new client records,
- capture data about intake clients,
- schedule clients for assessments, and
- capture data to help evaluate client needs.
Prerequisites Knowledge of agency’s intake and referral procedures, policies, and data capturing needs.
NOTE: This course assumes that the Intake module will be used by the agency. Course CD103 - Receptionist and Front Desk Operations is recommended for agencies without the Intake Module.
Intended Audience Intake or assessment staff, receptionist handling intake functions, crisis intervention / “hot-line” staff, referral staff, clinicians, or personnel supervising others who perform these functions.

Logistics • Courses are held at BTI’s office in Vineland, New Jersey.
• Beverages and lunch are provided for each full classroom day.
• Morning and evening meals are the responsibility of attendees.
• We are within convenient driving distance from both Philadelphia and Atlantic City airports and attractions.
• Attendees are responsible for providing their own hotel and travel accommodations.
• A listing of local hotels, restaurants, and directions will be provided upon course registration.
• We reserve the right to cancel or change scheduled course dates based on minimum attendance requirements.
